Maura Sullivan was born in Hartford Connecticut. She graduated from Syracuse University and has attended the International School of Photography. She currently lives in New York, New York. Her work is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and is widely exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions in the United States, Argentina, The Netherlands, Poland, and Turkey. Her first book ‘Things we Remember’ 2021 published by Skeleton Key Press is part of the permanent collection of the Moma library. Her other monographs include ‘After Beauty’ 2022 published by 1605 Collective and ‘As we Speak’ 2026 published by Skeleton Key Press. Her photographs have also been published in Analog Forever, Antiques weekly, Art Forum, Artist Actual, Black+White Photography, Fotoritim, Fotograf Dergisi, Fraction Magazine, Lenscratch Fine Art Photography Daily, New York Magazine, Odalisque Magazine, Private International Review of Photographs and Text, RH+Sanart (The Art Magazine of Turkey), Shots Magazine and The Sun.
